Advice To My Younger Self

YOOO it’s Bengt, welcome back to another video where I’m sharing some valuable advice I wish I could’ve given my younger self, around the ages of 16 to 19, that crucial transition from high school to adulthood. First up, drop the habit of smoking weed. While I’m not ashamed to admit I used to be a stoner, it’s time wasted that could be better spent. The fleeting experiences it offered weren’t worth the time, money, or potential.

Here’s the hard truth: time is your most precious asset. It’s tough to grasp this at a young age, but it’s vital. Those hours spent developing skills, learning about finances, and understanding how the world works will compound into success. Your future self will thank you for investing in yourself today.

Speaking of investments, save money. If you’re making cash during high school, don’t squander it. Put it into something that grows, like stocks or crypto. The power of compounding is your friend. By the time you graduate, you could have a solid financial cushion that’ll give you options.

Now, let’s talk about college. Seriously reconsider unless you’re absolutely sure. The rigid structure doesn’t prepare you for life’s unpredictability. Student loans are a trap; they’ll hang over your head for years. Question whether the return on investment is worth it. Most importantly, explore other options before committing to a path that might not align with your goals.

High school drama? It’s inconsequential in the grand scheme. People’s opinions, fleeting moments, and social hierarchies don’t matter. Focus on what truly fulfills you, and understand that life’s perspective changes drastically as you mature.

Consistency in the gym and spiritual growth are essential. You’ll evolve and your current insecurities will diminish over time. Your self-worth is not tied to high school perceptions.

Lastly, seek guidance. Find a mentor who aligns with your aspirations. Whether through personal connections or online resources, mentorship and role models will help shape your decisions. Avoid pitfalls by learning from the mistakes of others.

So, if you’re in high school or beyond, take this advice to heart. It’s a roadmap to navigating the journey ahead. If this resonates, leave a like, comment, and subscribe for more content. Remember, you’re on the path to greatness – stay focused and keep pushing forward.
